Midsummer’s Night Dream Raises $249,000
For Hospital’s New Maternity Unit
UPLAND, CA, October 4, 2023 – San Antonio Hospital Foundation hosted their Fall Celebration - A Midsummer’s Night Dream – on Saturday, September 23 at Bridges Auditorium in Claremont. The event truly was a dream as a sold-out crowd of over 200 guests enjoyed a beautiful night of dinner and dancing under the stars.
Evening highlights included an update from John Chapman, President & CEO of San Antonio Regional Hospital on progress of the new maternity unit as well as the hospital’s plans for a Center of Aging in Rancho Cucamonga. A silent auction sparked a bidding frenzy with a Barbados resort getaway as one of the most coveted auction items.
The event was an outstanding success, netting $249,000 in donations from community members and business sponsors. The funds are earmarked for a new maternity wing on the campus of San Antonio Regional Hospital in Upland. The new maternity unit will be designed with modern, high-tech birthing services in a beautiful atmosphere.
While it was an amazing night, the contributions from our dedicated donors are what continue to amaze me,” commented Michelle Stoddard, President of San Antonio Hospital Foundation. “Their generosity and ongoing loyalty to San Antonio and its patients is truly inspiring.”
