March 2024 LEAF Award Recipient
Rayan is an ED tech in our Emergency Department. He joined us in 2020, just before the onset of COVID. Despite challenging circumstances, he swiftly emerged as a vital support for nursing staff. He is proactive in ensuring patients’ needs reach the appropriate providers and consistently goes above and beyond in his duties. Rayan brings a vibrant energy to the team. He was nominated by a fellow San Antonio employee who had come to the ER with family and was able to experience Rayan’s outstanding compassion first hand. “Rayan was mesmerizing in how well he cared for others. It gave me hope that there are still so many good people in healthcare!” Congratulations, Rayan!
